Originally from California, Katie Geis is now based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she lives with her husband and three children. She works as a live wedding and event painter, traveling across the United States and Europe to document celebrations in a way that feels both artful and deeply personal.

Her work focuses on capturing the atmosphere of an event as it unfolds, with an emphasis on light, movement, and composition. Each painting begins on-site and is later completed in her studio, resulting in a finished piece that feels both immediate and enduring.
